IP intelligence
A residential IP is only the beginning.
The network looks familiar. The visit still needs a closer look.
The traffic report looks reassuring. Visitors arrive through consumer networks, from the regions the campaign was meant to reach. Nothing about the connection immediately stands out.
Then the activity starts repeating. Different visits follow the same sequence, with the same pauses, across apparently unrelated addresses. The network label hasn’t changed. The question has.
Look beyond the address
A residential connection describes the network behind a visit. It doesn’t explain the browser using that connection or the activity taking place inside it.
The team looks at the connection, device characteristics and behavior together. What seemed ordinary in one column becomes worth investigating when the signals are brought into the same view.
Keep the assessment connected
A proxy signal can add context without deciding the entire outcome. A privacy-oriented visitor and an automated browser should not become the same category simply because both obscure part of their connection.
The useful result is an assessment with reasons behind it. The campaign manager can follow that assessment back to its source and understand what deserves attention, without treating the address as the whole story.
